Santa Clara, California – (work wire) – CLARA Analytics (“CLARA”), the leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to the commercial insurance industry, announced today that it has appointed Tyler Jones as its Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. Jones will be responsible for directing the entire company’s relationship with its clients and leading efforts to assess and scale expertise at every touch point across the customer journey, ensuring that commercial insurers generate optimal value from CLARA’s AI platform.
Reporting to CLARA CEO Heather H. Wilson, Jones will apply his unique blend of customer-focused innovation, technology and insurance industry expertise to CLARA’s ongoing pursuit of superior customer value, continuous improvement, and exceptional service for its customers.
Tyler Jones is a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of experience in the insurance and banking industries. During his tenure at Kaiser Permanente, he was responsible for technology strategies to support the company’s revenue management operations. In this position, he led a multi-year, $250 million transformation of Kaiser’s revenue cycle and consumer medical billing experience. Jones oversaw the deployment of software, analytics, and process automation that exposed inefficiencies, improved results, and provided other senior leaders in the company with insights to guide strategic and tactical decisions.
Jones’ experience as an innovator and strategist includes product management roles in which he has successfully transformed customer experiences and enterprise operations by harnessing the power of data along with digital applications, social platforms, and advanced analytics. Prior to his latest role, Jones served as Global Head of Data Strategy at AIG and Director of IT Strategy at Kaiser Permanente.
“Tyler Jones has earned a reputation as a strategic thinker in the industry,” Wilson said. “Throughout his career, he has been leading initiatives that deliver measurable benefits through innovative uses of technology – and by leveraging data-driven insights in particular. He understands how to match technological capabilities with the needs of insurers in ways that lead to meaningful value. This is appropriate Exactly to CLARA’s goal of delivering a compelling return on investment to our clients within just six months of implementation.”
“CLARA Analytics is always striving to do more to deliver compelling value to its commercial insurance clients,” said Jones. “This company has a proven track record of delivering fast ROI to its clients because they understand the needs of commercial insurance companies so well. This level of intimacy with clients, combined with CLARA’s leading technology position, has created a platform that delivers real-world benefits using artificial intelligence. A lot of AI companies make promises; Clara delivers. I’m so excited to be a part of that.”
