We have an exciting opportunity for an Email Marketing Leader to join our Digital Marketing team and take the lead over Email for Heart Foundation and 1:1 Marketing Power.


When reporting to our Digital Manager, your new role will see that you collaborate with all areas of the organization to achieve the key responsibilities below.

  1. Develop and implement acquisition and retention marketing strategies across direct and targeted marketing channels to achieve revenue increase, brand and health goals: including email and SMS.
  2. Ensure that the data within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the integrated technologies are accurate, fit for purpose, and are continually improved.
  3. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop customer lifecycle paths, and onboard user journeys to achieve acquisition and retention goals.
  4. Provide expert strategic and tactical advice and support regarding marketing automation and lifecycle journey design
  5. Together with our campaigns team, we analyze the impact of our email communications and implement strategies for improvement and growth.
  6. Conduct post-campaign analysis to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns and lifecycle journeys.
  7. Manage email campaign calendar and coordinate resources and traffic.
  8. Lead an analytical approach to “Test, Measure, Learn” methodology to incrementally improve campaign performance against objectives.
  9. Manage and motivate the email team and provide training, regular feedback, and opportunities for continuous personal and professional development.

To be successful in this role, you will have a high-quality marketing or business qualification or proven experience in an email marketing and lifecycle role.

The essential skills, knowledge and experience required for this role include:

  • Proven experience with a broadband email service provider (SFMC, Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Proven analytical skills with experience working with complex data sets for targeting, vision development, segmentation, journey design and testing.
  • Demonstrate project management and evaluation skills with a proven track record of delivering results on time and budget.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage agreements with external suppliers and service providers.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and consultative manner with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to facilitate meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing a high performance team.
