Malad Indigenous contributes to the IPO of Clearwater Analytics

Headquartered in Boise, founded in 2004 and currently with 1,400 employees and spread across seven different countries, Clearwater Analytics is one of several technology companies that had an IPO (Initial Public Offering) in 2021, and is a successful one. at that time. Clearwater provides software as a service (SaaS) that helps companies perform investment accounting, allowing them to easily generate reports, manage their investment data, and comply with growing financial regulations. Clearwater’s more than 1,000 clients include leading insurers, asset managers, corporations, retirement plans, governments, and nonprofit organizations. The company has enjoyed strong year-over-year growth since its inception and debut on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on September 24, 2021, with its shares trading under the ticker symbol “CWAN”.

Three Malad City residents have contributed to Clearwater’s success, including its most recent initial public offering. Two of them are sisters, Sarah John And Emily (John) Erickson, who were in New York City for the company’s initial public offering ceremonies, including the festive chime of The Opening Bell® in NYSE. Sarah, as one of the company’s directors of marketing, has played a key role in managing all of the company’s many events related to the IPO and the complex logistics associated with it. Sarah has been at Clearwater for nearly five years and has been one of the most dedicated and influential team members not only within the marketing team, but for the company as a whole. She leads marketing campaigns and has a keen attention to detail which has enabled her to successfully lead several key client events, including the company’s annual user conference which has hosted over 300 people in Boise most years. After graduating from Malad High School, Sarah received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Idaho State University. She lives in Boise and in her spare time is an active community volunteer, dedicated practitioner and yoga instructor.

Sarah’s sister, Emily, is not on Clearwater’s payroll, but she is fully devoted to the company and “bleeds Clearwater blue” with her husband, Scott Erickson, who is a member of the Clearwater executive team and joined the company as one of its first employees. Scott currently serves as President of Americas and New Markets and especially with the demands of his job, Emily has been by his side since their marriage in 2001 and shares his love of travel and adventure. Emily graduated from Boise State University in 2001 with a degree in English with a focus on secondary education and currently spends much of her time volunteering at her children’s school and in her community. Emily and Scott have four adorable children — Anna (18), Cecilia (15), Lily (12), and John (9) — and live in Garden Valley, Idaho. Needless to say, Sarah is also a passionate aunt to Emily and Scott’s children.

With a limited number of people due to Covid restrictions, Terrell Hubbard He was not able to attend IPO events in New York City, but his contributions as one of the leaders in Clearwater’s large operations job are many. Terrell graduated from Malad High School and after missionary service in Florida, he received his bachelor’s degree from Utah. He started his career at Clearwater in January 2018 and has spent all four years in the data department but has taken on additional responsibilities to directly support implementations on two separate occasions. He currently holds the position of Division Head in Data Operations where his numerous responsibilities include leading, directing, retaining and staffing a large team that is critical to Clearwater’s service to its clients. Earlier this week, he officially became the first Clearwater employee to earn Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification through Clearwater’s LSS program. Tyrell’s line manager Jonny Dittmer says, “Tyrell is an accomplished leader whose talents are beyond his years and has quickly risen into management. People love to work with and for him. Plus, Tyrell is exceptional in his personal execution.”

Terrell lives in Kona with his very loving and supportive wife, Beth, and two young girls, Willow and Harper. He currently holds an MBA from the University of Utah. In his spare time, he loves archery hunting and has been equally successful in this hobby, harvesting elk in three consecutive years.
