Bitmoji Reactions offers seven emotional responses to choose from to respond to a message.

Emoji polls can be added as stickers to Snaps and Stories to poll friends for their thoughts.

Video and audio call updates include more lens options and an ability preview of who answered a conference call before joining.

DCM launched a new media feature for branded content

Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has launched a new reel site for premium branded content.

The venue is called ‘DCM Studios Presents’ and it will give brands three to four minutes to create branded content for the big screen.

It will be booked through new identities and placed in front of the silver spot for cinemas and movie trailers.

This builds on a partnership between Applied Consumer Neuroscience (ACN) and long-running content specialists, Brand Managers.

You and Mr. Jones change the name to Brandtech Group

You and Mr. Jones have rebranded Brandtech Group to be more in line with their growth and use of technology.

The group was founded in June 2015 and says on its website that it “helps brands do marketing better, faster and cheaper using the latest technology”.

Allowed to proceed with an antitrust lawsuit on Facebook

A federal judge has decided that the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) can proceed with a second break-up lawsuit against Meta.

The revised lawsuit accuses Meta of following a “path of anti-competitive behavior” and, if successful, would force Meta to sell Instagram and WhatsApp.

It comes as Tony Shaw, co-founder and CEO of DoorDash, was elected with immediate effect to the Meta Board of Directors today.

In a trade update published today, S4 Capital announced a combination of 4 Mile Analytics and Media.Monks, which “significantly expands the capabilities of data and digital media practice.”

IAS hires new EMEA MD

Integral Ad Science has appointed Chapa Szabo as its Managing Director, EMEA.

Szabo (pictured, less) in London and will report to Chief Revenue Officer, Chance Johnson.

Szabo was most recently Vice President of EMEA at Shutterstock and had previous positions at Yahoo and Orange.

Carat selects two new partners for the strategy

Dentsu Carat has appointed two senior strategic partners as part of its global team.

Maru Mwamilisi (pictured, bottom leftand Bram Mullmanthe correct) will report to Shaun Healy, Carat’s chief global strategy officer.

They will focus on strategy for key customer groups, product development and network integration.

Mouameletzi moved from Director of Global Strategy for Unilever at WPP Agency Mindshare and held previous senior strategy positions at PHD, IPG and Zenith, working for brands such as Ferrero, Bacardi and Expedia.

Muleman was most recently Group Strategy Director at independent media agency the7stars and prior to that had strategic roles at Carat and Dentsu X.

Criteo designates UK MD

Criteo has appointed Ryan Cook as its new CEO for the UK.

Cook will be responsible for setting strategy, market vision, product development, and relationships with industry bodies.

Cook was most recently seconded as managing director at Teads, and has had roles on AOL, Millenial Media, and Nexage platforms.

DAX Global wins exclusive advertising deal with Elizabeth Day podcast

The global digital audio advertising platform will be the exclusive advertising partner of How to fail with Elizabeth Day.

Hosted by writer and journalist Elizabeth Day, the podcast has had 25 million downloads and 1 million listeners per month since it started in 2018, and has proven particularly popular with women aged 25-54.

The advertising deal will last for two years and will provide opportunities for advertisers to create targeted campaigns through sponsorship, host-read ads, and placement ads.

Omnicom Media Group selects new CEO for EMEA

Omnicom Media Group has appointed Jay Marks as the new CEO for the EMEA region.

He will be responsible for strategy, operations and transformation at OMG agencies across EMEA including OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science and Annalect’s Data and Analytics division.

Signs (In the picture above) was the former CEO of OMD EMEA for four years and will succeed Mark Cooper who was promoted to Vice President of Omnicom Group Europe, reporting to Omnicom President and COO Daryl Simm.

Bamco issues updated printed estimates

The latest data from Pamco, the audience measurement company for publishers, shows that 91% of British adults consume magazine media or brand news content in a month.

The Pamco Bridge 4 2021 dataset covers 92 print brands and 86 digital brands from October 2019 to September 2021 for print data using Ipsos digital data in September 2021.

Because Pamco introduced new methodologies after the pandemic, this data set is not comparable to previous Pamco data.

LadBible Group hires former Sky Media MD Tim Pearson

Former Sky Media President Tim Pearson will be responsible for Lad360, LadBible’s content marketing and digital advertising division.

Pearson (less) in April and to report to Chief Growth Officer Colin Gottlieb.

Mediatel News Pearson revealed that she was leaving Sky Media after six months in the role.

Radio Times appoints alternative chief political commentator

Radio Times chose Lucy Fisher (less) as its new chief political commentator.

Fisher is currently the deputy political editor at Daily Telegraph I previously worked at times As Defense Editor, Chief Political Correspondent and Political Correspondent as well as at Sunday times as a reporter.

She will replace Tom Newton Dunn who will move to TalkTV when it launches later this year.

the7stars wins Kao brands, planning and purchasing for public sector media

Independent media agency the7stars has won a British media account for Kao, the leading Japanese consumer goods manufacturer, after a competitive bid.

Kao is the world’s largest supplier of professional salon products including beauty brands John Frieda, Molton Brown and Goldwell.

The7stars has also won a place alongside Republic of Media in the Crown Commercial Services list to undertake public sector media planning and purchasing. The contract lasts for four years.

History Hit Appoints Head of Original Programming

SVOD company and content platform, History Hit, part of Little Dot Studios and All3Media, has appointed Bill Locke as the newly created original head of programming.

BBC Creative has acquired Green Park to promote Sir David Attenborough’s new show green planet

BBC Creative is celebrating the launch of a new Sir David Attenborough series on plants by acquiring posters and digital screens at London’s Green Park Station.

Posters at the station will display different types of plants from underwater carnivores to human-shaped desert cacti, along with two digital screens showing the trailer from the five-part series.

Produced by BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit, the series sees Sir David travel from the United States to Costa Rica and Croatia to Northern Europe to discover the secret lives of plants.

Roku’s senior vice president and platform business chief is stepping down after nine years

Scott Rosenberg (less) that he will be leaving Roku in the spring.

He was responsible for Roku’s $1 billion media business, including app distribution, the Roku Channel, and advertising business.

Rosenberg has worked for the broadcasting company for over nine years where he joined as Vice President of Advertising and Business Development.

Previous roles include board member at MMA Global and IAB.

Pinterest hires a Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity

Nicole Barnes Marshall (less) joins Pinterest as Global Head of Inclusion and Diversity.

Her previous roles include Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Equality Officer at Bath & BodyWorks, Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at LBrands, and Global Diversity Officer at AON.

Tye McCray, who left last June after seven months at the company, is now behind.

News UK appoints Tom Newton Dunn for TalkTV news night

Tom Newton Dunn (less) will leave The Times to present weekly news and current affairs program on News UK fellow stablemate TalkTV when it launches early this year.

The hour-long show will be broadcast live from Monday to Friday from News UK’s London Bridge headquarters.

He is stepping down as the chief political commentator at Radio Times today but will continue presenting his Sunday morning political program until the launch of TalkTV. It will also continue to contribute to times And Radio Times.
