the David Bowie Real Estate Announced a series of releases from David Bowie’s catalog that have been remixed and reimagined exclusively in 360 Reality Audio. An immersive music experience powered by Sony’s spatial sound technology.
The content is David Bowie’s latest music mixing 360 Reality Audio, after Space Oddity, and currently available on streaming platforms supported by 360 Reality Audio.
In conjunction with the ongoing Bowie 75 celebrations, Longtime Bowie Producer Tony Visconti 360 Reality Audio has created a mix of Heathen, Reality, A Reality Tour (Live), The Next Day and Blackstar. The albums, currently released by Sony Music, will be available to stream in 360 Reality Audio starting January 21. Amazon Music Unlimitedand Deezer and Tidal.
In addition, the David Bowie Estate and Sony provide four live archival performance recordings that have been combined and reimagined in 360 Reality Audio. This technology makes it possible to create a lifelike music experience, giving listeners the feeling of being in the setting of a live concert.
The four songs are from David Bowie’s Real Tour, which includes live audio and video from Bowie’s latest concert tour, to be streamed live on 360 Reality Audio today (January 6) at midnight UK time (4pm PST) on Sony’s online platform. Right after the live broadcast, viewers will be able to broadcast this performance using the Artist Connection app on the smartphone. With certified Sony headphones and the Sony Headphones Connect app, users can also enhance their experience by analyzing the shape of their individual ear to enjoy a personalized immersive music field. This sound field customization feature is only available for broadcasts using the artist connection experience.
Both YouTube live streams and Artist Connection viewing experiences will be available to the general public.
