Kansas State University School of Business (K-State) has a STEM-designated Master of Science in Data Analytics designed to fill a skills gap — quickly, effectively and in an interdisciplinary manner. To ensure that the 30-hour program is as comprehensive as possible, the college has partnered with the departments of Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Industrial Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Mathematics and Statistics at K-State.

The Data Science track offers electives in artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, information retrieval, text mining, quantitative problem-solving techniques, data and network mathematics, categorical data analytics, and more. The Applied Analytics track opens a broad range of knowledge in accounting analytics, economic forecasting, financial modeling, GIS, online GIS, geographic computing, and advanced marketing analytics, among others.
