Your role as Senior Public Relations Consultant will encompass the idea, management and execution of Emma Lewisham’s Australian public relations and brand partnerships. You will work harmoniously with the Head of Public Relations to create a groundswell in Australia for our brand, in particular focusing on states NSW and VIC. Activity included will be on-going tailored media pitching for editorial opportunities across key titles, executing on-brand brand collaborations, onboarding and managing successful influencer and content partnerships, building a community in Australia for our Friends of the Brand program, event management and execution , expert copywriting assistance, consulting on business development strategies amongst other tasks that sit under the public relations, partnerships and marketing umbrella. A key part of your role will be supporting the Head of Public.

NB: the Senior Public Relations Consultant will work collaboratively with the Head of Public Relations on the functions, responsibilities and performance objectives listed below

Editorial Media

  • Support the implementation of the 2022 Australian PR plan to ensure Emma Lewisham is consistently editorially featured across all key leading titles
  • Tailored monthly product pitching to media to ensure editorial placement that covers Emma Lewisham’s three communication pillars
  • On-going management of media gifting and top-ups
  • Creating and updating Emma Lewisham’s media database for Australia’s targets
  • Ensure Emma Lewisham is consistently featured across key media publications in Australia
  • Ensure covers product coverage, brand story, sustainability (the three brand communication pillars)
  • Monthly PR reporting and clippings

Media Partnerships

  • Help identifying suitable and powerful media titles to partner with in communicating Emma Lewisham’s three communication pillars
  • Support the end-to-end partnership deliverable management and additional value
  • Aligning Emma Lewisham with media titles that don’t mitigate our editorial opportunities
  • Reporting on quantitative data secured through media partnerships
  • Driving notable sales and awareness from targeted media titles

Friends of the Brand

  • Help foster, review and expand the FOB program focusing predominantly on targets in NSW and VIC
  • Help ideate creative concepts to engage with FOB members to ensure Emma Lewisham is not just another beauty brand that only engages in contra gifting
  • Engage with the FOB targets to further Emma Lewisham’s three communication pillars (not just seeding product)
  • Manage and track the FOB program to ensure members are engaging with the brand on an on-going basis
  • Update the database with contact information and details
  • End-to-end management of contra gifting for FOB targets
  • Drive awareness and sales through the FOB program by fostering authentic relationships between targets and Emma Lewisham
  • Reporting on FOB progress through monthly social coverage clippings
  • Ensure database is updated and expanded on an on-going basis


  • Support the end-to-end ideation, management and execution of brand events
  • Support the management of event venues, RSVP, catering, entertainment and production
  • Support the management and sourcing of third-party suppliers
  • Ensuring H&S procedure protocols are defined and followed accordingly
  • Reporting on qualitative data through event attendees (for instance social coverage)
  • Driving notable sales and awareness in event locations through the wider geographical market

Brand collaborations

  • Support identifying suitable brand collaborations that will elevate Emma Lewisham’s brand positioning in Australia
  • Nurturing and fostering relationships with key brands to ensure partnerships have longevity
  • Driving notable sales and awareness through brand collaborations in Australia
  • Fostering relationships with longevity that elevate Emma Lewisham’s premium positioning in the market

New Product Development (NPD)

  • Support Emma Lewisham team NPD projects to ensure we’re maximizing PR and partnership opportunities
  • Ensure all NPD campaigns maximize PR and partnerships
  • Driving notable sales and awareness through brand collaborations in Australia


  • Provide copywriting assistance across all Emma Lewisham external marketing collateral eg, media releases, marketing messages hierarchy and interview request etc
  • Provide copywriting assistance for all brand partners, FOB, brand collaborations to ensure all Emma Lewisham messages are on-brand and follow the established hierarchy of messaging
  • Ensure all external Emma Lewisham communications are on-brand, follow our hierarchy of messaging and effectively communicate our three brand communication pillars


  • Create and regularly update Emma Lewisham’s media and FOB databases to ensure we have all industry contacts required to effectively communicate our three brand pillars in the Australian market
  • Ensure all contact information is regularly updated to accommodate for industry shifts
  • Ensure Emma Lewisham has a comprehensive internal database of contacts that covers all key targets across Australia

Policies and Procedures

  • Support the upkeep all PR and partnership policies and procedures up-to-date
  • Contribute to the development of all Emma Lewisham policies and procedures, including health and safety
  • Adhere to all Emma Lewisham policies and procedures.
  • Keep all PR and partnership policies and procedures up-to-date
  • All Emma Lewisham policies and procedures, including but not limited to health and safety, are adhered to at all times


  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is mandatory
  • A minimum of three years experience in a similar role is mandatory. Experience in the luxury space is preferred but not a must
  • Experience building and developing a successful PR and influencer strategy, generating earned media, driving brand heat, digital engagement and sell through
  • Ability to identify and secure new, innovative opportunities to drive brand awareness
  • Passionate and committed to keeping on top of key trends, influencer activity and the consumer mindset
  • Strong personal connections with media, influencers and content partners
  • Ability to create meaningful media moments that add value to the brand, the customers and the community
