DIGITAL MARKETING & PR MANAGER

VOID is now open for a full-time Byron-based Digital Marketing & PR Manager. The new position is for someone who is passionate about impact-led conversation, to join the art of making humanity feel more human. It is also imperative that the position is filled by someone with an innate understanding of aesthetic and bespoke sensory experiences, to bring our pillars of art, play, sex, love and heal from one dimension into another. You will enjoy working in fast-paced, high turn around environments where creativity is championed.

We are looking for an experienced digital specialist with a strong background in digital marketing strategy, content creation and PR. You’ll be responsible for developing innovative digital marketing plans, as well as implementing strategies to drive audience growth. For this reason, experience and immersion in the metaverse is preferable, though a passion for learning and growing into this space is a great start.

You will understand and undertake the responsibility of influencing opinions and behavior in intersectional spaces, both inside and outside of organizational walls. You will be able to innovate unique applications through various communication channels, including social, website, media, EDM, podcast, events and more.

Importantly, you will be part of our close-knit creative team, who are the lifeforce of our seen and felt aspects of the business, working closely with the General Manager, Head of Creative, Culture Curator, and Social Media Manager to execute the central vision, transforming a deep wisdom of systems into new-age applications.

The role will require you to work across the life of each project, from strategy through to creative development, production, planning and scheduling of content, channel monitoring and post-campaign analysis. You’ll have an established network of creative contributors, be adept at using social media listening and planning tools, and have a strong view about what works when it comes to digital content. Fluency in a range of digital platforms is essential and a desire to stay ahead of the trend curve on social media platforms is a must in order to protect our voice and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy

Develop the annual marketing strategy that supports the overall brand positioning

Develop a supporting marketing communications plan including strategic objectives, budget and tactics

Uphold the visual brand guidelines and edit and proof copy

Understanding of audience acquisition best practices specific to the publishing landscape

Ability to engage directly on partnership pitches, actively seeking out and proposing digital opportunities relevant to their business

Ability to ideate, create and manage experience based marketing collaborations with third parties.

Develop an effective email marketing strategy and content creation – to drive sales, communication and brand affinity

Passion for User Experience and success with implementation of complex UX in past roles

Ability to commission market research

Ability to coordinating paid and unpaid advertising

Creative copywriting including captions and storytelling across the business products and online mediums

Coordination and creation of marketing assets across all platforms with a focus on socials including stills and videos that best feature our work

Social

Oversee social media with the support of our Social Media Manager, to develop and drive social and marketing strategies to increase reach, engagement and connection

Ability to analyse, manage and deliver paid campaigns across social media platforms through a funneled marketing approach and review and analyse channel engagement

A passion for keeping across the latest developments in social media – trends, platforms and strategies – and being proactive in providing actionable insight to the internal team.

Demonstrated experience managing a range of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube, Vimeo, TikTok, Twitch and Discord.

Stay across developments in social media and proactively provide actionable insights

PR

Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level places

Planning and carrying out PR campaigns and strategies

Monitoring the public and media’s opinion of Channel Void

Finding opportunity with our in-house written articles to promote and have published on other platforms

Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, editors/bloggers and other editorial/advertising teams to maximise opportunities and brand perception

Ambassador management and creating campaigns with influencers/ social personalities

Writing and editing press releases, newsletters, websites and social media content

Utilizing all forms of media, including national, regional and trade press, to build, maintain and manage the portrayal of Channel Void

Working with designers, photographers and videographers to create content for social/ web and PR

Experience

3+ Years’ experience in a similar role

Potential degree level in Media Business, Creative Intelligence/Innovation, Media/Arts/Production, Digital Marketing/Communications and Design + Sitting Media

Skills:

Use of analytics and social media monitoring tools to gain insights and guide strategy

Solid knowledge of a range of digital platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Google Ad Manager, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Active Campaign & G-Drive

Tech-driven and passionate about innovative ways to market the business such as text EDM or Metaverse integration

SEO experience

Have an eye for design – confident with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular, Photoshop and Indesign

An established network of creative contributors, photographers and filmmakers,

A strong connections within youth brands

Knowledge of media production and communication

Thorough and attention to detail
