As an Associate Professor, you will play a central role in furthering research at the Digital & Data-Driven Marketing Department. The department has consistently ranked as one of the top marketing departments in the UK, according to the Complete University Guide. Currently, comprising of 19 academics, our teaching and research interests include digital marketing, marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, brand management, luxury marketing, services marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing analytics. The department members have published their research in top-tier journals including, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of World Business, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business Research, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built around the research strengths and focus of the department staff.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for the discipline of marketing. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with an emerging or established profile in the areas of consumer behaviour, digital marketing, advertising and promotions, and marketing analytics, with a strong quantitative background to join our thriving and expanding community.

For the Associate Professor candidate, we expect a well-established academic reputation in a specialist discipline, demonstrated by a significant record of high-quality publications, as well as a track record in securing research funding.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in innovative approaches to teaching and will provide research support and leadership (as appropriate) and cooperate with others in the group. You will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and engagement activities. Whether developing your novel teaching approaches, acting as a dissertation/thesis supervisor to your students, or contributing to the effective administration of the department, you will enjoy exceptional scope to innovate, develop, and make a significant impact.
