The construction of the tower was made possible through the station’s “Power the Tower” fundraising campaign, which raised nearly $500,000 in three-and-a-half years. A free concert to celebrate the new signal is scheduled for May 21 featuring performances from Sweet Virginia and AJ Fullerton.
